UCIC is proud to maintain its domicile in Delaware. Delaware
recently celebrated the addition of its 100th captive insurance company underscoring
its dedication to our industry. We are happy to be working with such an
experienced and sophisticated department.
UCIC is now the strongest risk retention group serving the contractors and artisans community with surplus of over $13 million and solid reinsurance with a domestic carrier possessing an AM Best A-rating. As it has always done, UCIC will continue to provide liability coverage to most classes of contractors, including but not limited to Roofers, Remodelers, Landscapers, Framers, Foundation Installer’s, Excavators, Grading Contractors, and many other classes of artisans and contractors.
Currently UCIC provides coverage for AL, AZ, CA, CO, GA, LA, NV, NM, NC, OK, OR, SC, TX, WA & FL policyholders . The company will be expanding in many other states in the near future. UCIC is proud to maintain its tradition of responsiveness and quick quote turnaround through its relationship with United Contractors Insurance Agency (UCIA) it’s only managing general underwriter.
We remain committed to the retail broker community and their policyholder clients to provide the best service at the most reasonable price possible. We understand the severe pressures that have been placed upon our brokers and clients as a result of recent issues in the economy. Nevertheless, we remain committed for the long haul to continue our tradition of solid service and reasonable pricing in conjunction with financial stability that the broker/policyholder community has continued to expect from us.
Claims are professionally handled through Premier Claims Management a specialized 3rd party Property & Casualty administrator experienced with construction liability. Premier Claims is not only responsive to UCIC and UCIA, but allows direct access of brokers to obtain any and all information reasonably necessary to service the needs of the policyholder. Claims are thoroughly investigated and analyzed and honored or defended as fair and appropriate.
